Step 3: Define Scenario Settings

CEM scenario settings are entered in the file ScenarioInfo.csv. Open the file and you will see input data entered as shown below:

The value of 8760 for RepPeriodLength indicates that our representative period are used to capture 8760 hours. The related property TimestepsPerPeriod is used to input the unique timesteps in each representative period. The ratio of RepPeriodLength to TimestepsPerPeriod informs the solver about the duration of each timestep. In this case, each timestep represents one hour.
