Keyboard Shortcuts

The user can interact with SAInt-GUI by using keyboard shortcuts. Depending on the SAInt-GUI control element, e.g., the map window, the users can perform specific actions that save them time and let them work more efficiently. This section lists the available keyboard shortcuts in SAInt-GUI under their different control elements.

1. Ribbon Bar

The available keyboard shortcuts in the ribbon bar are related to the simulation and help tab as presented in Table 1.

`F1`	Access the documentation to the specific topic of the current control element.
`F5`	Execute the active scenario.
`F6`	Option to stop and exit a running simulation at the next possible time step.
`F7`	Option to pause a running simulation at the next possible time step.
`F8`	Option to continue a paused simulation.

2. Dock Panel

The available keyboard shortcuts related to the dock panel (map window, script editor, command window, and property editor) are presented in Table 2, Table 3, and Table 4, respectively. In Table 2, the keyboard shortcuts act as a map selection filter in the map window. No keyboard shortcut is available for thermal objects at the moment.
